Testes de Proficiência, o que são e onde encontrá-los

O estudo é a base de toda educação e cada vez mais as escolas estão fazendo os alunos a se prepararem mais para o mercado de trabalho, um diferencial que já a algum tempo esta introduzido em nosso calendário escolar é a língua inglesa, estudamos inglês para nos diferenciar no trabalho e para melhorarmos os estudos  ( Pós Graduação - Mestrado), mas quando e como medir o nível de aprendizado da língua? Será que é quando entendemos a musica favorita ou conseguimos ver a série de TV sem legendas? Bem para isso temos alguns testes que as Universidades e Empresas pedem, e que eu coloco abaixo para esclarecimento.

Testes de proficiência em inglês têm grande importância tanto no mercado de trabalho quanto para os interessados em estudar fora do País. Estes exames comprovam a aptidão da pessoa com um segundo idioma, e muitas vezes são obrigatórios em processos seletivos de empresas ou de universidades no exterior.

Existem diversos exames de proficiência em inglês disponíveis para brasileiros. O certificado é válido para quem não tem o idioma como língua materna, mas possui fluência na língua.

Hello to all, we are here to start our year (late, but at least we are starting...), here  I am to remember that this January 21st is holiday in the USA, it´s Martin Luther King´s day, her are the Bioigraphy of this great man that lived in this world.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a United States federal holiday marking the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday, January 15. The floating holiday is similar to holidays set under the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, though the act predated the establishment of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by 15 years.


King was the chief spokesman for nonviolent activism in the civil rights movement, which successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. The campaign for a federal holiday in King's honor began soon after his assassination in 1968. Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983, and it was first observed on January 20, 1986. At first, some states resisted observing the holiday as such, giving it alternative names or combining it with other holidays. It was officially observed in all 50 states for the first time in 2000.

I couldn't believe that I could actualy understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and the last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole, Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important!! if you can read this foward it.

Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formally known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season.
